Very Comfy for a Rainy Day. February 27th, 2103.

It's an awful rainy day today in New York and I wanted to be as comfortable as I could.  Hence another jeans and t-shirt day. Yey! I had a little extra time this morning and also decided to braid my hair.  Hope you like the result.

I'm so excited about this new Betsey Johnson "YUMMY" Bracelet I got!  It's kind of cutsey and pretty, but at the same time edgy.  Is that even possible?

Navy Skirt + Comfy Sweater. February 26th, 2013

As I've mentioned in my previous post I'm not a big fan of skirts. Somehow I can never seem to pair them up with anything good.  Hence my skirt collection is very limited and I wear them very rarely. I'm more of a dress and pants kind of a person.  Today is the exception and I finally decided to wear my BCBG navy skirt (favorite color!), it has a very cute zipper in the back (sorry no picture ;().

And as always since it's chilly outside, I have to put on one of my warm sweaters, cardigans, or vest!

Olive Shirt & New Booties. February 25th, 2013

This morning, I didn't have too much time in the morning, and so I went with pretty simple look: olive BCBG shirt & blue jeans. Today's look highlight are of course my brand new MIA boots which I absolutely love. Despite the fact that these are a little large on me. Unfortunately the smallest size was 6 and I'm normally 5.5.  However, I still make it work with slightly thicker sock. Because these booties rock!

Cayenne Jeans. February 21st, 2013

I'm seem to be a bit obsessed with colored jeans.  Today I'm wearing cayenne/light burgundy color.  And I have to say out of all my Rich and Skinny jeans collection, this color is my favorite!  I've paired it up with silky blouse from ZARA.  Gotta love how nowadays all the long sleeved blouses and shirts come with the option of folding up the sleeve with the button closure. I love it! This means that come spring and summer I can still wear this shirt!

Teal Jeans. February 20th, 2013

Decided to try something new today.  I don't often wear my teal jeans, so took me some time to fish them out from the back of my closet. Also polka dot patterns are really in right now so decided to pair up polka dot shirt with the grey sweater.  What came out in the end is funky kind of looking outfit, but I like it :)

Navy Blue with Mango. February 19th, 2013

My favorite color is hands down navy blue, especially the darker shades.  It's similar to black witch is always very flattering and slimming.  However, at the same time it's not as boring as black. Today's outfit consists completely out of Mango pieces, which I purchased during my last trip to Spain. Here is the result, hope it's not too much blue :)

Purple Jeans Day. February 15th, 2013

I love my colored jeans.  Especially in the winter, since I'm not very big on bright colors.  So in the winter or fall I get to try out colors such as purple, teal, and burgundy.  Love it!

Other than purple jeans today's outfit includes color block sweater from my recent Limited haul.  I've seen similar sweater at J. Crew and was drooling over it, but it is a bit out of my budget.  That is why I was sooo excited when I saw this sweater on sale in Limited ($31!!).  I'm sure  the quality is not 100% the same and the collar is different, it has a lower neck.  But non the less I love it!

Valentine's Day Outfit. February 14th, 2013.

Happy Valentines Day, dear reader!

This morning I was thinking really hard about what to wear. The first choice was: white button up shirt + red plaid jeans.  The second choice was: red blouse + blue jeans.  I thought about it real hard. And finally decided, that with my luck I'll spill cranberry juice all over the white shirt.  Hence the choice was made :)

I wasn't feeling lazy this morning like yesterday.  But there is something about effortless look of a t-shirt and jeans that I love.  Today is the day before Valentine's day and I decided to pay my dues with one of my favorites: Love & Peace shirt! Pardon my un-manicured nails, as I said I've been a little lazy lately :)

And since it's pretty chilly outside, I needed a cardigan. It's really funky with patches and all ;)

Snow Storm in NYC!

Today we have a snow storm in dear old NYC.  As a panic ridden people run around looking to stock up on supplies and gas, I have to go to work.  But all is not too bad because I finally get to wear my beautiful winter boots that I bought for this exact reason:
